Utica Records was born in a Bolton Hill, Baltimore basement in the blistering summer of 2016.
Fueled mainly by delusion and excessive amounts of caffeine, the label was founded by multimedia producer Joseph B. Purcell with the intention of not only creating a personal expressive outlet for his various projects but a viable platform for whatever like-minded artists he thought to sound refreshing yet authentic enough for its support. Since its inception, the imprint has strived to act as a springboard to success for forward-thinking recording artists, bands and producers of the widest variety achievable.
