ORCHIDS is the solo project of Philadelphia-based alternative rock outfit Snoozer’s Melanie Kleid. While Snoozer humbly resides in the realm of rock, ORCHIDS dares to venture beyond towards the far reaches of electronica and pure pop. With the release of ORCHIDS’ debut single “What About It,” Melanie Kleid effectively displays her full-fledged songwriting abilities via catchy hooks and personal lyrics.
